My Creative Space: 3D Wall Art

I made these pictures for my daughters room ......  The frames were horrid brown plastic molds found in the yard sales, so I dragged some white acrylic paint over them.  I think they turned out rather nicely!!

I sculpted both 3D Tortoise & Hare out of low fire clay, baked them in the oven for 20mins, hot glued them on to cardboard, added a layer or two of acrylic paint and glaze.

The flag is card stock glued to a lolly pop stick and the cute puffy hearts are last year Christmas ornaments I found in the sale at Ikea!

Hope You are all having a very creative week!

  3. I sculpted, she says, as if we all can just sculpt things.

I am so jealous what a great skill and what a cute translation of Aesop's fable.
